Branding and Brand Promotion

Your most valuable asset

Branding lies at the core of marketing. Your brand is all about the idea that you “own” in people’s minds; it is what they think about when they think about you, your company or organisation and its products and services.

Branding matters

Good branding builds reputation and profile so that your products are known and valued.

Taking your brand forward

Developing your brand means making and sustaining a name for your business, helping you reach, sell to and satisfy your customers. Blue Kite can help at all stages, from defining your brand, its characteristics, messages and values, to sourcing appropriate design and delivering your messages through all your communications – from advertising and marketing to PR campaigns.

Copy Writing

Communicating your messages

It is crucial that your chosen brand messages focus on delivering the right information to your customers and to your other audiences. This is where copy writing comes in.

Blue Kite can write text for all publications, from annual reports to promotional leaflets and full company websites. Blue Kite can also research entire topics and provide copy if that is something that is required.

Public Relations

Perception is everything – it must be real

How your business is perceived is a matter of prime importance for your future business success. Contrary to popular belief, PR, at least good PR, is not about “putting a spin” on things: instead, it is about telling the truth persuasively.

PR and brand building

PR should contribute to and build your brand, underlining your key messages to all your publics - whether customers, suppliers, media, opinion leaders or any other group of importance to you. It should be planned, sustained and cumulative allowing you to build a reputation.

Other services offered include

  • crisis management – allowing you to remain in control when things go wrong and be in a position to react to them effectively and convincingly
  • media relations – developing your contacts and relations with print, broadcast and on-line media
  • event management, including sponsorship events, to maximise media exposure and build strong relationships with partners

Market and Marketing Research

Staying ahead of the game

Keeping abreast of the state of the market is a central requirement for any business. You need to know how external factors, including competitor activities, are shaping your market(s) if you are to remain in control of your business’s future and ahead of the competition.

Make informed decisions – not assumptions

Blue Kite can provide you with full market sector information and arrange marketing research such as customer satisfaction surveys which will allow you to plan your future with confidence. All too often companies and organisations base their corporate planning and strategy on unfounded assumption. How much better it is to plan based on everything that can be known.

Find new opportunities

Better still, such research often uncovers new opportunities that can be realised. Research can reveal issues such as the unexpected ways in which your customers are using your products and the areas in which they would welcome new ones to meet new needs. Market testing and trialling to determine the viability of new products and new product ideas can also be arranged and managed by Blue Kite.

Customer Relations and Development

An ongoing relationship

You are engaged in a continuous relationship with your customers and you should be using appropriate communications to keep them informed of issues of interest to them.

Customers welcome such information provided that it addresses their concerns and is not simply a transparent attempt to sell in more of your products and services, regardless of their perceived needs.

Blue Kite can help you manage your relationship with your customers from getting feedback and establishing their willingness to be involved with you, to writing newsletters to inform them of forthcoming opportunities and ensuring that your communications, including promotional ones, are timely and appropriate.

Your online presence can be used to build stronger customer relationships by, for example, providing your customers and other audiences with access to specifically tailored information that complements your other communications. Interactive functionality means that customers can be given the opportunity to manage their relationship with you at their own pace and on their own terms, greatly adding to their perception of your value.
